Happy Spring from The Beez Nest!

This deck was a family effort. Kevin and John hung the joists on an 87 degree day. Emma helped lay planks and as usual, I was John's 'Beck(man) & call girl', getting tools, drilling pilot holes, cleaning up messes, etc. Of all the things we've built together, John might say this was one of the most trying. Lots of 'cocksuckering' went on, many bumps, bruises, cuts, a 3lb hammer to the face, a Scheidegger party and a few tears (me at the end!) But, we all agree, it was well worth the toil. On to enjoying the rest of the summer cooking out, catching some rays and watching the lakeside action!
