Welcome back to Cantwell’s Tavern’s STAFF SPOTLIGHT 📸: Meet Kayla, one of our exceptional servers at Cantwell’s Tavern! Kayla joins us each summer while on break from school & we couldn’t be happier when she reaches back out to hit the schedule! Kayla’s favorite tavern food item is our Ribeye Cheesesteak- add mushrooms! Her favorite coworker was a hard question- she said she loves all of her fellow team members but she did say she enjoyed working shifts with Gabby, Lily, Julia, Nya & Willow! Kayla said she loves working at Cantwell’s because it’s a low stress atmosphere and everyone on the team is always willing to jump in and help! Val, our GM, said she loves having Kayla on our staff because she is helpful as well and always has the most positive attitude! Thank you for all you do at Cantwell’s, Kayla! We appreciate you!

Restaurant designs increasingly include attractive outdoor spaces. Witness McGlynns Pub in Barley Mill Plaza, which opened in 2022 on the site of an old DuPont Co. complex. This location shows that outdoor spaces are now expected in new builds. The contemporary space has a large bar with seating for 15 or more, a table with a fire feature, and lush container gardens.
