Bye, IDGAFork! It’s been real. I will not miss driving to far events or how I smelled after work or my generator breaking every other day but I’ll miss mostly everything else. Thank you to everyone who came last night to celebrate the past 8 years of trucking. And don’t forget to visit me at Sleeping Bird Coffee! There will be coffee! Sandwiches! Soft serve! Only one week until your last Mac & Cheesesteak ever!! A reminder that we will be parked in the parking lot from 4:30-8:30pm on March 16th. This is conveniently located next to , my new coffee shop! The shop may not be open yet but feel free to walk around and get a feel for where you’ll (hopefully) be getting your coffee from now on!

Alrighty here it is: the last day EVER of IDGAFork! (Although Zach says we should host an I Don’t Give a Fork day at Sleeping Bird Coffee once a year). Come out to Wilmington Brew Works on March 16th from 4:30-8:30pm and grab your goodbye sandwich (along with a beer or two!). This is taking place in the same location as where Sleeping Bird is opening so you’ll get to see where our new digs are too. Hope to see you there!

Howdy folks! It’s been a while. I’m here to officially tell you about something new I’m doing next year, which is opening a coffee shop called with my fave sidekick .espresso. It will be located at 3111 Miller Rd, Wilmington next to and . (The building in the picture!)

Here are some questions and comments that I anticipate you having:
“But Leigh Ann, you know nothing about coffee! Why a coffee shop?”
Well, Zach seems to know what he’s doing coffee-wise and maybe he’ll eventually teach me some stuff. Also, I’ll be mostly in charge of the food program.

“What kind of food will you serve? Will you have the Mac & Cheesesteak?”

No. I have sold over 16,000 Mac & Cheesesteaks and would like to never see that sandwich again. Sorry not sorry.

“Are you closing the food truck?! Say it isn’t so!”
Yes and no. It will still be running until we open which we anticipate being in April. I will be taking mostly private events for Jan/Feb/March so email or send me a message if you want to organize something! I’m also not selling it in anticipation of a Michael Jordan esque retiring. Just in case. (I won’t say no to an offer though, ifyaknowwhatimsayin).

I will miss the truck life but I am very excited to move onto new things. This has been in the works for over a year so don’t blame Covid! Blame me for being restless and my addiction to caffeine. The past 8 years have been amazing and I really hope I will see you at the new shop.
