Our History
Bing’s Bakery, Delaware’s longest running bakery, has been proudly serving customers since 1871. Bing’s Bakery has been running year after year since 1871 when it was originally called Fader’s Bakery (Gotleib Fader, founder). Russell and Selena Bing purchased the bakery from the Fader’s in 1946 and changed the name to Bing’s Bakery. In 2005, head baker Tom Guzzi and his wife, Carla, purchased Bing’s Bakery where we continue to produce quality baked goods.

Join us this Friday, May 15th at 11 a.m. as we celebrate an incredible milestone — 80 years of Bing’s Bakery — with a special ribbon cutting ceremony from the DSBC (Delaware Small Business Chamber)!

We are truly grateful for the support of our wonderful customers throughout the years. From our family to yours, thank you for allowing Bing’s Bakery to be part of your family celebrations and cherished memories for generations.

To celebrate, we’ll be giving away free cake during the ribbon cutting festivities in addition to other festivities. We hope you can join us for this very special occasion!
