And on this day, a full circle moment, where the collab is with our family, and her brand which has been putting together curated events for the culture in Charlotte and here!!!

This is years in the making. Not from a production standpoint. From an ideation perspective. We are and have been under attack. The Culture. The History. The People. And we refuse to not fight. Joy and Storytelling are our WEAPONS. Every dish tells a story and holds a conversation.

So let us speak. And we want to give you, our People, a chance to speak and be heard. The Real. The Fiction. Come and share a meaningful (funny, sad, loving, etc.) story that you think we should hear. Not a poem. Not a song. (Although rhythm and cadence are a part and may include) A story.

Please join us for the first GRIOT SESSIONS, as we create a space to preserve, continue, and push forward the culture of storytelling. Joining us, as host, is Andrew Binger, representing Yendor, an organization in our community that fights daily for the preservation and betterment of our culture.
