I dunno about you, but the Juneteenth momentum is in full effect. Short Stay Studios pulled up only as Play Cousins do, with the entire fam to screen independent shorts and the instant classic from Boots Riley , I Love Boosters. Vendors Vending. DJ DJing. And the menu, for Me-n-U!

I don’t know if film screenings can happen any other way around here after this. This was an active defense of the word, theory, culture, realization, articulation, and sense of COMMUNITY. We refuse to let it become a dirty word! We seek to become its epitome.

Thank you to all of the folks, who came, who chilled, who brought joy, and especially those that served, built, cleaned, and toiled. It was marvelous.
