National Burrito Day?
Yes, its a thing.
Thursday April 4

Here's the myth: Juan Méndez, a street vendor in Chihuahua, Mexico, invented the burrito. During the Mexican Revolution in the 1910s, Méndez decided to wrap his food in flour tortillas to keep it warm and transport to miners on his small donkey (b***o?). He then realized that wrapping the food in a tortilla was tasty and a good way to serve it.

DORADO celebrates its 12th Anniversary

We opened DORADO at our E. 12th St., Greenwich Village location on January 6, 2012.
For 12 years we've been preparing delicious Baja California-San Diego-style Mexican antojitos - tacos, quesadillas, burritos, chips, salsas, and more.
We are grateful to our thousands of loyal customers and friends; to our vendors and suppliers; and to the many talented people who have been part of our team and success.
