Adel's #1 Halal Food Bringing delicious Halal food with an Egyptian twist to the streets of New York. We are located on 180 Maiden Lane (Closest trains are 2, 3 to Wall St).

Our hours are 9am-5pm (Mon-Fri). Adel’s #1 Halal Food is owned by Adel Elnagar, who immigrated to the US from his native Egypt in 2000. In September 2017, his cart was nominated for the Vendy Awards and won the People's Choice Award for food vendors in New York City.

After reading many reviews we tried out adels halal food cart in New York. It was definately tastier than halal guys. We got a mixed platter on rice. The chicken and lamb were both marinated and full of flavour whereas halal guys do not have much flavour on the meats itself. This was a huge portion packed with flavour and the sauces were mouthwatering.

We had a great time earlier this week exploring street food of the Financial District with John and Johno, tour leaders from Peru. They loved the falafel from — thanks to Ziyad (pictured) and Tito for doing an amazing job as always! Adel’s #1 Halal can be found on Front St and Maiden Lane and at 200 West St. Adel’s not only sells the best falafel (in our opinion) in the city, they are the 2017 People’s Choice champions.
