An Open Letter To Our Customers, Friends, & Community,
We would like to thank everyone who has supported Market Cafe since it’s inception in 1993. At a time when not many restaurants were in the area, Market Cafe pioneered the way, bringing gourmet food and a great vibe to an underserved community. The last 20 years have brought about a lot of change, and we are so grateful to have established ourselves as part of the fabric of the community. As the neighborhood evolves, our pioneering spirit endures, and we feel the need to do something new. Something the neighborhood is missing... A completely new way to enjoy food, drink, & an evening out.
It is with great respect and the deepest appreciation for our customers, friends, and community that we announce that we will be serving our last meal as Market Cafe this Sunday December 21st, and will reopen as Oovah Wine Gallery On December 29th.
Delicious food, amazing regional wines, & creative expression collaborate to make Oovah unlike anything that has come before it. Owner/Chef Giovanni Morales has designed a Central/South American menu (100% gluten free) that reimagines the cuisine at the heart of his passion for food, and draws on family recipes passed down for generations. Owner Stephen Hoover has designed, curated, and hand crafted every detail of the space to create a beautiful environment. The birth of this new idea is something we truly believe in and can't wait to share with you. We appreciate the trust you have put in us over the years and hope you will join us in this new venture. Your continued trust will not be misplaced.
