For more than two decades, the Red Lantern has stood at the heart of our culinary story. Inspired by the Guizhou red lantern chilli (灯笼椒) and the addictive complexity of Sichuan spice, this is the dish that established the uncompromising identity that continues to define our kitchen today.

There is a reason citrus and stone fruit have long appeared together across Chinese cuisine: one offers brightness, the other brings depth.

A longstanding Hutong signature, the Chinese Lantern brings that dialogue to cocktail form. Mandarin and plum are layered with the floral perfume of elderflower, the bittersweet complexity of Aperol, and the effervescent lift of cava. Expressing flavors that are vibrant yet familiar, the Chinese Lantern is an experience that is unexpectedly nuanced.

🍐 At its heart is Belle de Brillet, a French pear liqueur crafted from cognac and pear eau de vie - it balances the warmth of aged brandy with the delicate fragrance of ripe pears.
