Tony Dragon's Grille

Tony Dragon's Grille Serving Midtown Manhattan since the 80s. Family-owned. Fresh to order. Home of the legendary Gypsy Burger šŸ”
šŸ“ Madison Ave & 62nd St

When Antonio Dragonas first started, he was selling hot dogs and pretzels from a stainless-steel wagon. As soon as he could, he started upgrading his ingredients, feeding hungry New Yorkers fast and delicious meals. And it’s the people walking these wonderful streets that have made us what we are today. It’s been three decades, and we now serve wild salmon, free-range chicken, USDA Choice rib eye,

and sandwiches made on hand-rolled hero bread. We offer real food made from real ingredients for the real people who live in this great city. So, the next time you’re on Madison and 62nd, we invite you to taste the tradition for yourself.

We may have just entered the social media world recently, and by the grace of God, the support has been incredible. But our story didn’t start here.

For over 40 years, we’ve been on the same corner in New York City. My father came here from Greece with nothing but hope, a dream, and a work ethic that never quit. He built Tony Dragon’s Grille from the ground up, one customer at a time.

This article is a reminder that before social media, there were already lines down the block. We’re grateful for everyone who’s been part of our journey, whether you’ve been with us for decades or just found us today.

Our story is still being written. šŸ«¶šŸ»

The second guy trusted The Gypsy Burger with his life… 😳

07/11/2026

The Gypsy Burger is undefeated.

Your lunch looks a little different from our side of the grill.

Grateful every day that New York City keeps showing up hungry.

07/09/2026

You’re not sad. You’re just one Gypsy Burger away from remembering life is beautiful. šŸ«¶šŸ»

This one was never supposed to leave the secret menu…

Our regulars and locals basically bullied us into making it official… and honestly, they were right.

You fell in love with The Gypsy Burger.

Now meet The Gypsy Bowl.

In a city full of viral food, this burger still gets talked about.

The Gypsy Burger.

07/06/2026

When an NYC tour guide pulls up and gives The Gypsy Burger this kind of review… we take that personally. šŸ˜‚

Huge thank you to Carlos Castro for stopping by today and showing love.

62nd & Madison.
Same corner. Same grill. Same New York energy. šŸ”šŸ”„

Smashburgers are cute.

This is an 7 oz Tony Dragon’s cheeseburger… and yes, that grilled shrimp bowl is just the side quest. šŸ”šŸ¤

100 chicken bowls headed out for catering.

40 years ago, they called him The Chicken Man.

Some things don’t change.

Steakhouse quality without the steakhouse nonsense.

We’re using some of the highest-quality steak you can buy and serving it fresh from a food truck on Madison Ave.

This bowl is not playing around. šŸ„©šŸ”„

Feeling extra thankful today. šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

For this country, this city, our family, our team, and every single person who keeps showing love to Tony Dragon’s Grille.

Happy Fourth, New York. Be safe. šŸ«¶šŸ»

Taking a long weekend to give our crew a well-earned break and to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

These past few months have honestly been overwhelming in the best way. So many new faces, so many regulars still showing up, and more love than we ever expected.

My father came here from Greece over 40 years ago with nothing in his pockets but hope, work ethic, and a dream to build something special.

Our family is beyond thankful for this country, this city, and every single person who has supported us along the way.

Happy 250th, America. We’ll see you after the weekend. Be safe and stay hydrated! šŸ«¶šŸ»

Tony Dragon’s Grille. Madison Ave. NYC street food doing what it does best.

07/01/2026

This didn’t happen overnight.

It started with a small cart, a lot of hard work, and one family feeding New York the only way we knew how.

40+ years later… Tony Dragon’s Grille is still here.

Same corner. Same heart. Same fire.

New York is fully preheating this week.

So we’re keeping lunch light, cold, and refreshing with the Fling Salad watermelon, feta, greens, balsamic, and exactly what you want when the city feels like an oven.
