ned Petee's together in early 2015 to much fanfare, and the shop has received numerous accolades, including being named one of America's Legendary Pie Shops by USA Today. Petee's is consistently ranked as one of New York City's best pie shops in outlets such as Eater, Gothamist, Thrillist, Timeout NY and more. Petra began baking pies early in life as her parents own the acclaimed Mom's Apple Pie Company in Leesburg, Virginia. She brings this early passion for freshly baked pies and some family recipes with her to Petee's, where she bakes everything from the more traditional NY Sour Cherry Crumb and chess pies to more eclectic pies like the New York Nesselrode, in additional to cheesecakes, savory chicken pot pies, quiches and more.
