Dolly Parton (pictured here with our founder, Sherry Delamarter and other cowgirl employees) was among the notable Country-Western artists who frequented Cowgirl during her trips to New York in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.
Whether it was her media appearances, photo shoots, and interviews (such as her famous 1992 and 1994 visits to the city), she often stopped by to get a dose of genuine Country-Western flair and aesthetic. We were honored to host her, and fell in love with not only her brilliant artistry but also her kind and generous spirit.
