We had the honor of hosting some of our local politician past Sunday! The Governor of New York State Kathy Hochul and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine !They stopped by to enjoy some of our delicious dishes and took photos with our amazing staff. It was great to see them taking an interest in our restaurant and chatting with our team. We are proud to be a part of the community and we appreciate their support. Thanks to all the politicians who took time out of their busy schedules to visit us.

TOM, SUZANNE, AND YADA-YADA
Most people recognize Tom's Restaurant from its regular appearances in the 1990s sitcom Seinfeld, but the venerable New York eatery was famous long before George Costanza came anywhere near it. In 1982, folk-singer Suzanne Vega wrote “Tom’s Diner” while she was a student attending nearby Barnard College. She often frequented Tom's Restaurant and wrote the song as a patron gazing out its window at the disconnected city life.
