🗓 🎙Oral History Sharing Event - 11.22.21 - 5:30-7:30 pm - in person
91 South Street, Manhattan
REGISTER IN ADVANCE IN OUR BIO ☑️
Join narrators from two NYPAP oral history efforts that we have had underway concurrently in 2021. Voices from our Inspired by Grassroots Stories: Community Architectural Advocacy series and from our Gerry Charitable Trust Oral History Intensive will share parts of their preservation stories in person. Learn, for example, about neighborhoods achieving historic district designation ( and neighbors - 2nd image), historic vessel preservation tales (like David Sharps of - 3rd photo), and more (including individuals like Dan Karatzas of Queens - 4th image), all at the intersection of neighborhood and preservation.
Event is free, but registration required for this limited seating in-person event. Proof of vaccination required. ✅
5:30 - 6:00 pm - Mingle and gather on first floor.
6:00 - 7:15 pm - Program on second floor, appetizers and refreshments.
7:15 - 7:30 pm - A chance to network on first floor.
Special thanks to the Peggy N. and Roger G. Gerry Charitable Trust, the New York State Council on the Arts ( ), Pat Reisinger, and Bob Lewis of FSM.
