Our pastry Chef Alessandro has created his own version of a Holiday Special with ‘The Cornetto Panettone’

Enjoy the flakiness of a cornetto outside with the softness of a panettone inside.

We had the pleasure to commission these illustrations by H Conley with Chef Alessandro’s notes. In their own words:

“These drawings were made with heirloom colored pencils that I inherited from my mom inside a single-malt Glenfidditch tin. Some of the pencils very well could be as old as me… The collection is so random that there are so many different qualities to the pencils that I get to discover as I use them. You can see some of the textural differences in the purples of the raisins and the browns of the flaky crust as a little more oil paint-like, and there’s a bit more chalky quality to some of the other colors used.”

Cornetto Panettone will be available through January 1st, at our USQ & UWS locations.

UNESCO declared Italian food an “intangible cultural heritage” this week, and we’ve been celebrating ever since.

From Luca Di Pietro’s (), our founder’s own words:

“For me, it’s personal.
I grew up learning the value of simplicity from my nonna: the beauty of a few honest, flavorful ingredients… the ritual of fresh pasta on Sundays… pasta con il sugo or fregnacce con sugo d’anatra.
Those moments shaped everything we do at Tarallucci e Vino.”
