Dear guests of Sezam Restaurant,
This is the owner of Sezam Isak Sionov speaking.
Recently, we have received numerous complaints regarding the incident that occurred during the night between Saturday and Sunday.
Contrary to popular belief and the answers that have already been provided, people continue to ignore the fact that the altercation took place between two Jewish parties who, shortly before the incident, were sitting at the same table and consuming alcoholic beverages. Any claims suggesting that this was an attack on Jewish individuals motivated by antisemitism are nothing more than exaggerated falsehoods. I give you my word.
We have been welcoming guests for many years, the majority of whom are members of the Jewish community. What happened between representatives of the same culture is absolutely unacceptable; however, we cannot be held responsible for the actions of intoxicated adults who are incapable of taking responsibility for their own words and behavior.
Despite what some may think, our staff made every effort to stop the fight—even though it began outside the premises of the restaurant. The safety of my employees is no less important to me, which is why any accusations directed at them are completely unfounded. They cooperated fully with law enforcement, answering all questions and staying with the affected party until the very end.
For this reason, we kindly ask you not to spread false rumors, not to blame those who did nothing wrong, and not to damage the reputation of a restaurant that has served you faithfully for many years.
We hope that those responsible will be held accountable, and we wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured.
Sincerely,
The Owner of Sezam Restaurant
