The Columbia Taiwanese American Students Association is an undergraduate organization dedicated to the following goals:

-To build a greater community on campus and within New York City for anyone interested in Taiwan
-To build a community for individuals of Taiwanese heritage at Columbia University
-To foster an awareness of Taiwanese culture, history, and current affairs
-To explore issues of race, ethnicity, and national identity

Welcome home! This year's TASA Interboard, we engage in homecoming: in an immediate sense, our return to campus life; and in another, reckoning with questions of place and belonging within Columbia and the US as a whole. As we celebrate our coming together in solidarity, we also reflect upon and seek to proactively respond to those pressing issues confronting Asian American communities today.

Join us for an exciting range of Interboard programming: a discussion panel regarding Asian American organizational leadership, an advocacy round-table/action session, an open mic and Lion Dance performance, and last but not least, karaoke!

The event will take place on Sunday 11/7 from 6-8 pm in Rm 520 of the Math Building.
