Meet Jodieann — owner of Rolls N Bubbles on Utica & Eastern Parkway 🩷

Boba, rolled ice cream, milkshakes, sweet treats — she wished the pink truck into existence for her neighborhood. She’s our neighbor too. When we went no-sugar, we dropped milkshakes, bubble waffles, and cotton candy from our own lineup — which left us with a cotton candy machine and no use for it. Jodieann’s truck is pink, her business is sweets, so it was an easy call.

So Tom brought it over. And while he was there, we asked Jodieann what she’s grateful for.

Reposting this from my (Anya’s) personal page because it belongs to the Mr. Good’s story too.

This was September 2022. One of the first jobs me and Tom did together. Brooklyn College Student Center.

We called it «Together We Bloom.»

The idea was simple and true: we are stronger and more beautiful together. A tulip means something in Turkey and in Uganda and in Afghanistan and in the Netherlands. Flowers don’t belong to one place. Neither does beauty. Neither does strength.

Somewhere in the process of listing (almost) every country on that wall, Mr. Good’s started to take shape — the belief that if we combine our efforts, we can build something better. Better food. Better wages. Better environment. Better life.

That belief is still the foundation.
