Martina is a new, Roman-inspired East Village pizzeria from Nick Anderer, the opening chef of Union Square Hospitality Group Italian dining destinations Maialino and Marta. The menu draws inspiration from the Eternal City’s bustling neighborhood pizzerie that churn out thin-crust pizzas, fried snacks, and seasonal antipasti—think quattro formaggi pizza, crisp risotto croquettes, salad with chicory, artichokes, olives, and mushrooms, and affogati for dessert.

Friends of Martina – On Sunday, March 24, we served our last pizza and closed up shop. We’re so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us since we opened our doors. Thank you for your friendship.

Friends, our final service will be this Sunday, March 24. There’s still a couple days left to crush pizza and soft serve, so come on by! But mostly, we want to say thank you for all the love and support you’ve shown us since we opened our doors. Your friendship means the world to us. If you find yourself missing our pizza, visit our sister restaurant Marta on 29th Street. You may even see some smiling faces from Martina in the kitchen! 🍕❤️🍕❤️
