This month we are highlighting our Sidama Natural Single Origin Coffee. Last year Sarina and Elias had the pleasure of visiting some of the farms we source our beans from. In the Sidama region they met Roda Yotora, a coffee certification specialist at Daye Bensa Coffee. Gatta Farm is urrounded by natural forests and indigenous trees. ☕️✨

“Last year, Daye Bensa Farm prepared around 400,000 coffee seedlings and distributed them at no cost to coffee farmers in the area"

Beyond coffee production, Daye Bensa Coffee has built schools and constructed bridges and roads to make access easier. These efforts aim to support a sustainable and thriving local economy in coffee growing areas.

This month we are highlighting our Yirgacheffe Single Origin Coffee. Last year Sarina and Elias had the pleasure of visiting some of the farms we source our beans from. In Yirgacheffe, they met Mulugeta Kebede, a smallholder farmer. He first began farming on the land he inherited from his family, and now he has about 6.8 hectares (just under 17 acres) of land. Mulugeta has a message for YOU! ☕️✨

“I would like to tell people that coffee should not only be something they drink. I would encourage them to come and see where coffee comes from and how it is prepared. Come and connect with the farmer on his farm, witness the work behind, and enjoy a freshly brewed cup from the farmer’s home."

I'm delighted to welcome Buunni Coffee's new Advisory Board members! A warm welcome to Gaurav Swarup Bhatnagar, Emily Cavaliere, CPIM, Tinashe Chaponda, Darrin D., James J. D'Esposito, Anatoly Garelik, Fernando Hernandez, Daniel Kowal, Corissa L., and Daniel Samson!

They will join Nerisah Baksh, Damary Checo-Brillant and Angelina Ramirez who are continuing members.

and I are astonished at the interest and response we had to our call for Advisory Board members this year. We’re excited to welcome this group of thoughtful leaders. Their experience, perspective, and belief in our mission will help guide us as we grow with intention, deepen our impact, and continue building a coffee company rooted in quality, community, and care.
