Farewell, Chinatown!

We’ll be permanently closing Canal Street Market on December 29, 2024. Eight years ago, we embarked on a mission to support small businesses, with the vibrant community of Chinatown as our backdrop. It’s been an incredible journey watching so many restaurants, retailers, and entrepreneurs launch as pop-ups or first-time stores—and flourish beyond our walls.

Canal Street Market was always meant to be a launching point—a place where dreams take flight. There was no better place to do it than here. Though we’re closing our doors, the spirit of Chinatown will forever live in our hearts.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this place special. We cherish our community of small businesses and supporters. It has been a challenging yet deeply rewarding adventure. Though our time at Canal Street Market is ending, our commitment to supporting small businesses remains stronger than ever.

Join us in our final days to celebrate the community we’ve built—let’s prove that small businesses truly belong in NYC. We invite you to share your favorite memories as we cherish these final moments together.
