✨Exciting news✨

After 4 years abroad in Taiwan, I'm finally back in the US, recharged and full of delicious new recipes! And I am happy to share that my first vending gig back will be with .nyc THIS Sunday, 3-9pm, at .

TaiwanFest is bringing a Taiwanese night market straight to your doorstep, complete with fun handicrafts, live performances, and of course, amazing food!

I'll be preparing one of my all-time favorite dishes (one that I haven't sold in the US yet), so you won't want to miss it!

So come over to LIC this Sunday, say hi, and grab a bite. I can't wait to see you all there~

Tix still available (link in bio and below), so come and learn about the role of US imperialism in a more global transmosogyny. Dinner is free with the price of the ticket, so why wouldn't you come? I have some exciting (but bittersweet) news to share with you all soon! But until that point, lemme tell to about an event I'll be vending at (full details below)! This Friday, May 24th, I will be vending at first annual Night Market in celebration of AAPI heritage month. It'll be from 7-10 pm in Flatiron, so come through to kick off your memorial day right!

Also, I'll be featuring a brand new menu, so stay tuned to see what I'll be preparing (or better yet, just come and try it out!)

You are invited to Knotel Night Market on May 24th from 7 pm to 10 pm at 33 West 17th Street New York, NY 10011! In honor of APPI Month, for only one night we will be featuring food, art, apparel, and stories from across the Asian Community of NYC all in one place!

As part of the event, we will be having a Storytellers’ series featuring artists, comedians, and musical artists showcasing their story about “When I Was A Child.”

Storytellers will start at 7:40 pm so make sure to come and grab a seat!

Heyo friends!

I'm going to be vending this Saturday (3/2) at the Elmhurst Marketplace hosted by City Mission! I'm so excited to finally be able to vend in my own neighborhood and as such, I will be introducing some new menu items! Keep an eye out for those in the coming days and I hope to see yall at the event!

Hey friends! It's been a minute, but your favorite q***r Taiwanese comfort food pop up is back in business!

This Friday (2/22), I will be at the YELLOW JACKETS Q***r Lunar New Year party at the Knockdown Center! There will be a night market filled with rad vendors, and I will be there selling three types of zongzi/粽子. I'm excited to call in the new year with abundance and love with food and QTs and hope yall can join us in the celebration

Hi friends,

Due to a last minute mishap (I lost my keys and was locked out of my apartment), I will not be vending today at the Social Justice Holiday Market at Mayday Space. I’m so sorry for the folks who were looking forward to seeing me and/or having some yummy Taiwanese food. I had an amazing time yesterday. I hope y’all are still able to make it, though, and check out all the other rad vendors!

It’s been a minute, but I’m excited to announce that The Militant Manatee will be vending at the Social Justice Holiday Market this weekend (12/15 and 12/16) at Mayday Space. This is super exciting because this will mark 1 year of vending here in New York City, with the Social Justice Holiday Market being the first event I vended at here. So I’m ready to show off how much I’ve grown this past year!

Didya miss my vending a couple weeks ago at the Q***r and Trans Short Films event? Did you not miss it but instead miss my cooking?? Well there's good news for you! I am going to be vending this Sunday, 9/30 at for Yes, Femme! Hustle. Me and a bunch of other femmes of color will be vending things from food to jewelry to plant medicine! Come thru and get some nomz! Menu will be uploaded soon.
There are a bunch of reasons this is exciting. Yes, Femme! is an incredible project documenting q***r and trans femme of color stories and experiences, and I was super fortunate to be interviewed a couple months back! Also, May Day Space was the first place I vended in New York, back in December 2017 for the social justice holiday market. I'm so pumped to be back!

I'm so overwhelmed (lol when am I not?) from all the support and love that was at the other day for the Q***r + Trans Asian Short Films event! It was one of my biggest events in one of my smallest venues, and it was incredible. Thank you all so much for all the love ❤️❤️❤️ I didn't get to talk to many folks, but people still made the time to connect with me despite my frantic energy. Never have I gotten so many insta story tags, offers to help vend, or additional donations to further my little pop up.

I'm so excited that I got another chance to serve my QTAPI community and hope to do something similar to this again! HMU if you ever want to collab for an event or even just chill and eat together. I'm always down to make that happen! @ Secret Project Robot
