Last week we had the honor to welcome our friends Masala y Maíz for “The Modern x Masala y Maíz: A Celebration of Frida and Diego”. The two evenings featured a one-of-a-kind collaborative dinner celebrating the culinary heritage of Mexico City and the MoMA The Museum of Modern Art exhibition Frida and Diego: The Last Dream. Guests enjoyed a private tour of the exhibit, and enjoyed a multi-course menu featuring dishes unique to The Modern and Masala y Maiz cooking rooted in tradition and innovation.
