Well, one is now in Hell's Kitchen at 42nd & 9th there is a new jewel. This authentic Hunan cuisine is prepared much different than other styles. The sauces are made from scratch eliminating MSG. The casseroles and BBQ meats which we are famous for, are not what you think, they are smoked giving them a great flavor and of course lots of hot peppers. If you like hot pepper this is the place for you

. Don't worry there are other dishes to choose from. with pork ribs topped with Japanese bonita chips, not only a great presentation but delicious. Fresh fish head with chilis (20 mins.) Pork with miso and scallions or lamb with cumin will keep you coming back. Vegans don't despair, loofah with garlic (20 mins.) not to be missed and not found in many places. Snowpea leaf in season, wood ear mushroom w/ yam and okra with garlic just to mention a few. This is a place for Foodies, the wines are special selected choices of French, Chile and California, pairing well with the cuisine. On the Dim Sum menu, worth the wait for steamed pork dumplings (20 mins.) and don't overlook the Dandan noodles. For variety the Hunan soup menu is a good choice. The concept of “no tipping” gives tourists a relief. The majority of clientele are Chinese, a great advertisement in itself. “A” rating in a lovely decorated place make reservations a must!
