When You Don't Understand, Trust God
There are some things that happen in life that you simply cannot explain. You wonder, "God, why did this happen? Why did these people come into my life? Why did they leave? Why did I have to go through this pain, this disappointment, this betrayal?" Sometimes the questions seem endless, but the answers don't come right away.
But here's what you can know with confidence: God knows everything. He sees what you cannot see. He knows every reason, every season, and every purpose. Nothing in your life has caught Him by surprise.
Don't allow your purpose to be defined by what people say about you or by what people have done to you. People may reject you, misunderstand you, or walk away from you, but they cannot cancel what God has already spoken over your life. Your purpose is established by God, not by people.
So keep trusting Him. Keep walking by faith. Keep pursuing the purpose He has placed inside of you, even when the path doesn't make sense. Faith isn't about having all the answers—it's about trusting the One who does.
And remember this: you don't have to be perfect to walk in God's will. If perfection were the requirement, none of us would qualify. God isn't looking for perfect people; He's looking for surrendered hearts. Seek Him daily. Pray. Stay in His Word. Follow His voice.
When you seek the Lord, He will direct your steps. He will open the doors He wants you to walk through, close the doors that aren't for you, and give you the strength to keep moving forward.
So don't give up because you don't understand. Don't quit because the journey is difficult. Trust God, keep your eyes on Him, and walk boldly in the purpose He has for your life. The God who called you is faithful, and He will lead you every step of the way.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." — Proverbs 3:5–6.
