I thought this was a holiday weekend 🎣🎣 but we had quite a few moments when all I heard was Man Working 2 - 3 men working ladies too 🎣 🎣🎣🎣
Today we saw the most weakfish of the summer season 120-140 for the day but only able to cull 30-35 keepers out of that 🎣🎣
We tried to capitalize on yesterday’s areas but King Trident 🔱 (little mermaid’s father)had other plans 🤷🏼‍♂️ But we looked around and managed a nice catch for most everyone 🎣🎣
Thank’s to everyone that joined us today, especially Frank’s Sporting Goods a Bronx Icon and Mr & Mrs Brazil for the food and all the Brazilian’s that mad it a spectacular day 🇧🇷

The fishing was pretty good today! It was a little hot, but the weather made for a beautiful day on the water. ☀️🌊

YIKES , good thing there was no FB or INSTAGRAM when I started !!
Because there is no one in this industry that travel more for every day fisherman than me and PP not a special trip but every day anglers 🎣 there were days when a trip to the #5 buoy was a daily trip 🎣 not sure some of you Highliners ever do that trip even from your home port 🎣
So if we had to go that far than why no go to the ocean ??
Well the blues that year were way south and way east 🎣
There was one weekend we called (radio communications)
And the blues were off Deb’s s which was closer , so off we went but by time we got down there they were moving East and off Jones’s inlet now that was a trek!!
But enough about me , I remember Capt Lester and Capt W***y coming to Oyster Bay for Flounder season or the Sheepshead Bay fleet coming up the sound for Mackerel on a regular basis too 🎣🎣
Guess my point is traveling to catch some fish is not unusual just be glad the fish 🐟 decided to take residence close to your port 🎣🎣

Nice day on the western LIS many 3/4 limits or close to it 🎣🎣
Must have see 80-100 weakfish again but we were only able to cull 5 keepers out of it 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️
Some high liners Mr & Mrs Raul , Jimmy and co. And many others 🎣🎣 we’ll be at it 8am Sunday 8am
