17 years is a drop in the bucket in Europe, but it’s a helluva long time in the NYC —especially when you recklessly abandon the comfortable confines of Downtown Manhattan to blaze a trail in Long Island City, Queens. It ain’t easy in this town.

Dutch Kills was steadily pumping thunder in the early days, to the point where our future was uncertain. We held fast and strong and have most definitely persevered ever since. Let this anniversary be a testament to our gumption and grit, with an eye on 20 years in 2029. ‘Nuff respect to our loyal neighborhood patrons for holding us down since day one, and of course we have to give a shout-out to our magnificent staff who put in the work that keeps ‘em coming back seven nights a week…

If you ever find yourself in Philly, is a must visit and high on our list of recommendations. Today, we raise a glass to and his team, congratulating them on the one year anniversary of their reopening after a devastating fire, and the continuation of 40 years of the service, spirits and hospitality we love.

We’re proud to offer many of the special bottles he helped share with the world, behind the bar here at Dutch Kills.

The Golden Delicious was created by Jim Kearns at Pegu Club as a riff on the Gold Rush, combining New Jersey Applejack, Honey syrup, and fresh lemon juice in harmony.

We introduced Mezcal to the mix, serving our “Dorodo Deliciouso” on crushed ice with grated nutmeg. Available on our Happy Hour menu for only $15, every Sunday through Thursday till 7PM"
