On Sunday, members of RTNY2 participated in our Annual Fallen Members Ride. We visited local cemeteries and family residences to pay our respects in remembrance of those members that we have lost through the years. Following the ride, we enjoyed a meal at the Gold Star American Legion Post in Travis 🇺🇲 It was a solemn, but beautiful day.

On Monday, veterans of RTNY2 attended a veterans luncheon at the Mount Loretto Friendship Club. This was the third time we were invited, and always have an outstanding time and lunch with the membership. Thank you 🇺🇲

PART 3
911 was quite emotional as the members of RTNY2 c5onducted our annual local 9/11 Memorial Ride thru Staten Island. Our 1st stop was at the FDNY Engine 165 / Ladder 85 firehouse on Richmond Road where we participated in their first ceremony of the day at the first bell for the first strike.

Our second stop was at Angels’ Circle at Fingerboard Rd and Hylan Blvd where we placed a wreath for our brother FDNY Lt. Chuck Margiotta, and said a prayer for everyone.
Our third stop was at Postcards along the North Shore near the SI FerryHawks’ Stadium. This location is directly across from the Ground Zero site in Manhattan. We placed a wreath, and said a prayer for everyone.
Our Fourth stop was at the FDNY Museum and 9/11 Memorial on the grounds of Snug Harbor. We placed a wreath, and said a prayer for everyone.
Our 5th and Final Stop of the Day: RUMC (Richmond University Medical Center). We were so honored to be asked again this year to participate in their 9/11 Memorial Ceremony, where our veterans conducted the raising of the new American Flag and POW/MIA Flag 🇺🇸
