✨ BK9 Turns 10 Today ✨
On this day in 2015, we opened our doors with a dream — to bring the flavors of our Caribbean family table to Brooklyn. Ten years later, through resilience, love, and community, we are still here.
We’ve weathered storms, including COVID, and we’ve felt the deep loss of family and friends along the way (shout out to Nerva, Joe, and Michelle 💙). Yet, we’ve also gained countless new friends who became family — all within these walls.
BK9 was founded on the spirit of the Caribbean, the values of family, and the belief that food connects us all. Those same principles keep our doors open and our hearts full today.
To everyone who has supported us on this journey — thank you. You are the reason we’re here. Tonight, we raise a glass to you. 🥂
