Come by, say hi, and get some yums before September 24th. We are closing down our shop at Essex Market.

Yeah. We are feeling all the feels and unknowns as we turn the page and see that we have come to the end of an extraordinary chapter in our lives. To take a moment to reflect back on all the late nights and early mornings; the burns and cuts; lots of coffee (hot or iced — but absolutely black, no sugar); spreadsheet analysis; recipes that didn’t work and the recipes that nailed it; good press; bad reviews; photos at the wrong angle with the right light and photos at the right angle with the wrong light; food festivals; pop-ups and collaborations; catering gigs; all of the incredible friends we have made and so many laughs; and, not least of all, a global pandemic … this moment fills us with such gratitude and appreciation.

While our shop will be closed, our hearts remain full. We will treasure our time within the community of the Lower East Side; its history and vibrant mix of culture is New York City. Full stop.
