A moment for our Restaurant Week appetizers: four very different, but delicious, ways to kick off your meal. And yes, pampagana literally means something that stimulates the appetite. So… what will it be?

🐟 Kinilaw: One of the Philippines’ oldest-known preparations, kinilaw uses native vinegar and citrus to cure fresh seafood.

🍗 Kanto Fried Chicken: “Kanto” means street corner, a nod to the extra-crispy fried chicken sold by neighborhood vendors throughout the Philippines.

🥬 Inihaw na Pechay: Pechay is a humble, everyday staple in Filipino home cooking, commonly added to soups and sautés - and here, it gets the smoky inihaw treatment.

🔥 Inihaw na Liempo: A Filipino cookout favorite, this smoky grilled pork belly reflects the country’s love of inihaw - cooking over an open flame - often paired with a punchy dipping sauce.
