From baking empanadas to talking business at the New York Stock Exchange NYSE 🏛 🇦🇷📈
Never in a million years did I think selling Argentine empanadas would one day have me talking about the World Cup on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. But that’s exactly what happened!
This World Cup has reminded me that sports aren’t just entertainment - they completely change the rhythm of a business.
A few things we’ve learned at Criollas:
🥟 Some days you think you’re ready... and then one match changes everything.
📈 Demand can spike overnight, but your quality and service can’t. That’s the real challenge.
🤝 Every new customer is an opportunity to introduce someone to a little piece of Argentina.
The numbers behind it are incredible:

• 🗽 New York & New Jersey alone are projected to see over $3.3 billion in economic activity, 1.2 million visitors, and 26,000+ jobs created.

As a Latino entrepreneur, I’m incredibly proud that something as simple as an Argentine empanada can be part of that story.
