Meditate to Reduce Stress and Inflammation

By practicing meditation, you can shift from this heightened state of stress to a calmer “rest and digest” mode. This transition helps lower cortisol production, improving the body’s ability to digest food, absorb nutrients, and enhance immune function.

If you’re new to meditation or find it intimidating, apps like Headspace are a great way to ease into the practice. However, if meditation isn’t your thing, don’t worry—other relaxing activities, such as reading a book, taking a walk, or listening to your favorite music, can also help lower stress and support overall well-being.
