Talia’s will be hosting Michelin-trained, Chef Deborah Jean for a Glatt Kosher Haitian pop-up dinner!

Chef’s Background: Chef Deborah learned how to cook authentic Haitian cuisine from her mother at a young age and took that knowledge to culinary school where she learned classical French techniques. She continued her culinary journey by being part of the opening teams at notable NYC French restaurants such as Le Coucou, La Mercerie and Dominque Ansel Bakery.

Talia’s Steakhouse on the Upper West Side is excited to host Chef for a glatt kosher Jewish-Indian pop-up dinner next week! Join Chef Solanki and Talia’s as we explore the rich culinary heritage of the Jewish-Indian community and some of their most popular dishes.

Chef’s Background: Chef Solanki was born and raised in Kolkata, India and received classical culinary training in India and France. She moved to New York in 2019 and has worked for Eleven Madison Park (3 Michelin Stars), The Mark by Jean George, and most recently, as an executive chef at Cut by Wolfgang Puck. Solanki currently works as a private chef and consultant in New York City.

Thursday, 4/27: Riverdale (Door to Door), New Rochelle (Central Pick-Up)

Deliveries will arrive between 5:00 - 6:30 (driver will send an updated ETA once they are on the road). $75 minimum order & $15 delivery fee (minimum tip to driver). Food will be delivered in insulated bags and can be warmed in oven or microwave if needed. This menu is great for leftovers so can definitely order for Shabbat!
