Our specialty coffee is grown in the southeastern region of Brazil, in Minas Gerais.
The region is the hallmark of coffee production and just like all farming, the coffee plant requires an ideal location for planting, growing and harvesting.

Besides the climate and fertile soil, the altitude plays a major role in the end result.
The 100% Arabica Beans of Specialty Coffees are essentially grown in a land over 800m (2500 ft) altitude, where the well-defined seasons (hot and rainy summers and the dry and cold winters) become an important factor for the cultivation of the highest quality coffee, well balanced body and acidity of the beans.

Our arabica coffee comes from the Cerrado of Minas Gerais region, resulting in a remarkable fine cup, strong body and sweet aroma.
Ripeness also matters to obtain the perfume, sweetness and complexity, all at the same time.

Our Roasting Master uses artisanal techniques to extract all the flavor from the beans and make a perfect cup, bringing you a unique and pleasant experience with Mitra Coffee™

Tips on how to store your Mitra Coffee™

You bought the highest quality Specialty Coffee, what a great choice!
Now we are going to guide you on how to store your coffee correctly while maintaining its flavor.

First and foremost, the place in which the packaging will be stored, either the whole bean or ground version needs to be kept away from light, moisture and - surprisingly - oxygen!
That's right! The biggest enemy of coffee is our best friend.
This happens because the contact of the coffee outside the package with oxygen causes it to lose its features such as aroma, flavor, and pigmentation.

One of the ways to store it after opening is inside Mitra Coffee bag itself, which was specially designed to maintain the characteristics of the product and take advantage of the tin-tie to fully close your bag.
Or you can store it in a dark sealed pot, without the presence of light and make sure it has a good seal so that no air can get in and spoil your Specialty Coffee.

How to store it in the Mitra Coffee package:

> After consuming your Mitra coffee™, roll up the rest of the package, removing the oxygen until all the coffee is compressed inside;

> Use the Tin-Tie (the white wire in the top of the packaging) and make sure the bag it’s fully closed.

> Keep the package closed in a cool, dry place and that's it!

Your coffee is in perfect storage.
