As we celebrate this 4th of July, and 250 years of America, I've found myself thinking a lot about history.
Did you know the building we're sitting in today has been a bar since 1903? Think about that for a minute. For 123 years, people have walked through these doors to celebrate, to catch up with friends, to share good news, to work through hard times, and to simply be part of a community.
Generations have sat at these tables, told stories across this bar, celebrated holidays, toasted victories, and built friendships that lasted a lifetime.
The 4th of July is about our country's history, but it's also about our local history. It's about the places that have stood the test of time and the communities that have kept them alive. Small towns don't just happen. They're built by the people who show up, support each other, and keep traditions going year after year.
From our family to yours, have a safe, happy, and meaningful 4th of July. Here's to celebrating our country's history, our community's history, and making a little more history together!
