🌿 PURPOSEFUL.
And then there is PURPOSEFUL.
This one is probably the most personal of the three.
Because Purposeful is the why behind everything else.
Why this flour?
Why this chicken?
Why make something from scratch when buying it ready-made would be so much easier?
Yes, sometimes the answer is nutrition, quality or flavor.
But there is something more behind it.
We believe that when someone chooses to sit at our table, we have a responsibility to care about what we serve them.
Maybe they will notice the difference.
Maybe they won't.
Maybe they will never know that we paid more for an ingredient, spent hours making something from scratch, read twenty labels before choosing one, or decided against the easier option.
And that's okay.
Because doing the right thing only when someone notices isn't really the point.
Purpose, to us, is doing something with intention because it matters.
Not for recognition.
Not for applause.
Not because someone will tell us we did a good job.
Simply because we believe it's the right thing to do.
And that doesn't stop with the food.
It's in how we welcome someone through our door.
How we treat the people who work beside us.
How we take care of the little things nobody sees.
How we make someone feel when they sit at our table.
Because somewhere along the way, we realized that hospitality gives us an opportunity to serve people.
And maybe that's the part of Purposeful that means the most to us.
Not just what we serve.
But how we serve, why we serve, and who we are while we're doing it.
