Today in our Meet the Barista Series:

Meet LUCAS! aka

Lucas brings the best fits, vibes, and playlists to NPR. When he's on shift he's drinking an iced lavender cortado and listening to Cowgirl Clue, Blood Orange and Slayr.

When he's not working he's drawing, playing Magic the Gathering and fencing. (Fun fact: he drew our cute ibis print/sticker!)

May is bringing BIG CHANGES!

• We are now offering Granola Bowls! Available in blueberry and chocolate chip. (They're REALLY good don't ask me how many I've had so far)

• Orange and Coconut syrups are HERE TO STAY! We have made them permanent flavors in the lineup. Try an orange mocha or a Samoa latte!

• Ocean Water Lemonade is back for the summer! A refreshing caffeine free option for the hot Florida days.

• Looking for something small and mighty? We now have 12oz iced lattes!

• Don't fear, pistachio is still hanging around this month, as is our horchata and blueberry lemon pop tarts.

• Our renovations are complete! Have you checked out our new bar seating and wallpaper?! It makes an excellent backdrop for all your vibey photos so you can make everyone jealous that you're at Mountaineer and they're not.

Morgan is a bright ray of sunshine. You'll catch her drinking an iced pistachio oat milk latte and listening to Phoebe Bridgers, Royal Otis and Indigo de Souza when she's on shift, and when she's not working at Mountaineer she's playing guitar, drawing, and tattooing amazing art.

Welcome to our Meet the Barista Series!

This is JAIMEE, aka

Jaimee is our Lead Barista here in NPR and she is the tiniest, coolest rockstar you'll ever meet.

When she's on shift you'll catch her listening to Dave Hamilton, Camera Obscura and Guru while sipping an iced honey cortado.

When she's not working she's crafting, baking, cooking, streeetching and cuddling her kitties Betty and Judy.

As we approach our 8th anniversary of this location here in the heart of New Port Richey, we are planning some fun celebrations (Birthday Cake Latte, anyone?) but more than anything we are filled with gratitude and love for all of the support and relationships we've built with all of you.

We love serving you the best coffee in the area, but more than that we love hearing about your new job, your latest art projects, your kids volleyball game, your heartbreaks and joys and all the little things that connect us.

This is community.
