Kelly Day! Hey, that has a nice ring to it.

Obviously you know it’s Wednesday, and Bryan is still with the City’s Citizen Academy so that means Kelly’s behind the bar, and out front… and everywhere.

She’ll be wearing her “Gang’s All Here” shirt so be sure you stop by to make sure the gangs all there. Don’t leave her lonely. That’s when she gets into trouble (actually, it’s me who gets in trouble, so do a guy a solid and keep her busy, PLEASE!)

Week 5 of Citizens Academy was awesome!

We were the first Citizens Academy class to visit and learn about the City’s newest fire station, Station 2 on Grand Boulevard. This state of the art facility is not only beautiful, but provides great features that our first responders need to keep us all safe.

I really enjoyed learning about all of the services our fire department provides, and I especially enjoyed learning about the station itself.

Fun fact: did you know you can send food to the team at the fire department? I don’t know… I think I see some platters of tea sandwiches in their future. What do you think, The White Heron Tea & Gifts?

It’s Wednesday, and you know that that means…. Kelly Bar Takeover!

Tonight, in honor of the upcoming bike fest, I’ll be jamming to 80’s and 90’s Rock, and serving up the best locally crafted b**r in New Port Richey. I mean, have you tried it yet?

If b**r isn’t your thing, I also have some amazing sangrias on tap. Ask your friends about our Apple Pie Sangria (with the sugar rim, of course!)

I also make a mean craft cocktail, so there’s that too!

I’ll be running the show from 6-8:30 so there’s plenty of time to come and enjoy a cocktail while we rock out to some nostalgic (to me because I’m old) tunes!
