TRIVIA WINNERS ARE IN!

Question 1: The highest caffeine coffee/espresso item on our menu is our Americano! Many of you said Drip Coffee, and in a lot of coffee places that would be true. HOWEVER our Americanos have always had more shots than most places, so you get a rich taste and nice hit of caffeine. Growing up in Washington state, this is how Americanos were made. We brought that same Pacific NW Americano style here. Maybe we should call them Pacificanos?

Question 2: The highest caffeine NON-COFFEE item is our Lotus energy drinks. A 24oz Lotus has about 160mg of caffeine, whereas a Red Bull would be around 120mg of caffeine.

Question 3: There are currently 139 secret menu drinks!!! Scroll through our IG or Facebook to see them, check the White Duck Flavor Swap Facebook group, or ask your barista to recommend one. That's 6 years of creativity going into those recipes!

None of the guessers got every question 100% right, but several were *very* close... here are the three winners from yesterday:

Famously; the Duck Scale.

Left to Right, 1-5. When you order a drip coffee (hot or iced), we're going to ask you which duck color you want.

1 is black. No milk or milk alt touches the inky depth of your rich brew. This is coffee. This is all. This is yours. You are sure.

2 is a splash. Sure, toss something in there. But not much. A glimmer of not-coffee within your drink.

3 is a middle road. You like cream or alt milk, but when it comes to coffee you savor the flavor. Let you have your cream and drink it too.

4 is getting milky. It's smooth. It's unassuming. The caffeine remains strong, and the drink is just the mellowest bold.

5 is liiiiiiiiight in color. Is this a latte? No, it's the creamiest drip coffee. The coffee enhances the milk or alt; or is the other way around? You smile as you sip.

(Note alt milks don't get fully to duck 5, since they're not quite as pale as cow's milk.)

You've been asking... MATCHA IS HERE.

This isn't some chain beverage shop Matcha. We use Ceremonial Grade, spring harvest, unsweetened Matcha as our base. We've been sampling Matcha for over a year, and it's finally on the menu.

It's brilliant in a standard Matcha Latte (really nice with a little Vanilla Bean in there). We're also launching with 3 recipes you might enjoy:

- Banana Cream Pie (shown in a Matcha, but also great in a Latte or Espresso Shake!)
- Frosted Cookie Butter (same note as above)
- Blueberry Matcha Fresca

You can get a Matcha Fresca in any fruit flavor we carry (check whiteduck.es/menu) - it's Watermelon Juice, Matcha, and your choice of flavor. VERY REFRESHING! (A Mango Matcha Fresca is really nice, btw).

We're also launching Zero Sugar Blue Lotus. We already carry a 0 calorie 0 sugar clear Lotus (sweetened by sucralose), but the new Zero Sugar Blue Lotus is sweetened by allulose and is much less "sugar free" tasting (even though it is!).

Pair it with SF flavors for a fully sugar free drink, or pair it with typical flavors for a less-sugared drink that will taste nearly identical. Options!

Matcha and Zero Sugar Blue Lotus are in all stands now, so COME GRAB A DRINK!
