But now that it’s September, we can’t help looking at the fireplaces and thinking... pretty soon!

Food is always better when there are people you love around the table to share it with.

We make two flatbreads. Both start with fig jam and Gorgonzola, then one gets dressed arugula and the other Prosciutto di Parma.

They’re a light and tasty option while you’re deciding on dinner. Tear off a piece, pass it around, and maybe even have another.

And if you happen to take the last piece, there's no harm in ordering another!

Before we show you to your table, a little Irish lesson from our hostess stand.

Fán Nóimead: One moment, please!

It’s been hand-painted right there for who knows how many dinners, celebrations, busy Saturday nights, and friendly faces coming through our front door.

There’s another homemade sign below it asking you to please limit phone use. We’ll admit that one may be doing some heavy lifting these days.

Next time you walk in, take a look. There are little pieces of Ireland tucked all over this place.

Conor and Jamie would like to bring your attention to this weekend’s specials.

Jamie is holding truffle-stuffed gnocchi filled with Gorgonzola, Parmesan, ricotta, and summer truffle, served in a brown butter sage sauce with truffle honey and lemon-dressed arugula.

Conor says you can also add a grilled shrimp skewer to the gnocchi, or anything else on the menu today!

And last but definitely not least, from the bar, we’ve got a Pear & Truffle Bee’s Knees with Hendrick’s Gin, house-made pear truffle honey syrup, lemon juice, egg white, and a candied pear garnish.

Happy weekend! Last week I took a 1 mile each way stroll from Garvan’s going North on the Railtrail, to get my head in order for business, many of you seemed to love the photos. So this week I went 1 mile South on Huguenot Street, maybe US’s oldest continuously lived in Street?
Wow, we are totally surrounded by the most beautiful scenes, how could your head be anything but happy after seeing this, all in a few minutes! Enjoy x

This old building has a few quirks.

Yes, you may have to duck through a doorway or two. Just ask Garvan. Then again, maybe people were a bit shorter in 1759?

The old stone walls in our pub are still here more than 250 years later, which says quite a bit about how they built houses back then.

There’s a lot of history within these walls, and thankfully a few modern conveniences have made their way in over the years.

So don’t worry... we’ve got AC.

It is 2026, after all.

There’s plenty of comfort to be found on a plate of our Seared Yellowfin Tuna.

Tender yellowfin, seared medium rare with steakhouse spice, chili garlic broccolini, brown rice, and wasabi bang bang sauce.

The flavors are so well balanced it’s hard not to say “yum” after every bite.

C’mon over for dinner. We’d be happy to see you!

I took a walk just now, 2 miles in all, just to get some nature before starting a busy weekend. Don’t usually carry a phone but I did today, took some photos, if you’re wondering why I’m so happy when you come in these might go a ways to explain, as well as the amazing Staff and Customers (never mind my family!) we get to host in this amazing place every day, we are truly blessed, thank you!
