Have you ever heard of a Cho Cho?

If you’re not from New Orleans, probably not. And honestly? That’s exactly what makes them special.

Cho Chos are a New Orleans original — Chinese BBQ pork, shrimp, and onions wrapped in a wonton, folded by hand, fried golden, and served with homemade duck sauce. Many believe they were created right here by Chinese-American families who built neighborhood restaurants and made this city their home.

At Ming’s, we’ve been proud to carry on that tradition.

There’s a reason green beans show up on almost every Chinese table. Ours are stir-fried with fresh garlic until they’re tender and full of flavor. Once you try them, you’ll get it.

Not all shrimp are created equal, and we take that seriously.

At Ming’s, we use fresh Louisiana shrimp in our dishes, and we actually size them by the dish, because the right shrimp makes all the difference. Plump, juicy shrimp for a hearty entrée. Smaller, tender shrimp where delicacy matters. It’s one of those details you might not notice, until you do.
