Meet David "DT" Travis 👋🏼
Born and raised in New Orleans, David Travis (better known in the industry as DT) grew up surrounded by a family deeply rooted in the restaurant business, including Deanie's Seafood, Impastato's, and Anselmo's. Hospitality has always been a part of his life, and he's spent decades building a career in both the restaurant and w**e industries.
Over the years, David has held leadership roles at some of New Orleans' most renowned restaurants, including Emeril's, Atchafalaya, and Cochon, while also spending a decade in the w**e industry as a buyer, importer, and sales representative. His love for travel has taken him throughout Spain, France, Italy, Greece, and Switzerland, where he's found inspiration in the culture, food, and hospitality that continue to influence his approach today.
Outside of work, David is the proud father of three. He and Manny first met while working together at Emeril's, and years later, they're reunited at Restaurant Rebirth. David is grateful to be part of a family-owned restaurant alongside one of his closest friends, sharing his passion for great food, exceptional w**e, and genuine hospitality with every guest! 🥳
