Thank you to EVERYONE who has come out and supported us over this Mardi Gras season!! It was such an amazing success. We loved serving you before parades, after parades, between parties, and in costumes. We had an amazing Mardi Gras Brunch that is now becoming a tradition for some of our favorite regulars. And the week after Mardi Gras which is typically slow going was actually insanely busy!! We appreciate you for supporting a small lil' business in the neighborhood.

Our team is growing and improving, we are working on some new menu items for the Springtime, and things are just looking really great going into festival season. We also have been getting more and more large parties, buyouts, and private dinners. So, don't forget about us when you are making plans for your big celebrations!

This week is going to be chilly again so you can expect lots of Chef Matty's Oyster & Artichoke Soup to be hot and ready for you. We also recommend our smoky, spicy Amatriciana pasta as well.

WINE MONDAYS ROLL ON! 50% OFF. NEW TO THE LIST!

We have two beautiful wines coming into the Pulcinella! wine program. And, as we do, they're always 50% off by the bottle on their maiden voyage Monday.

First up is a beautiful Vermentino. Tenuta Sassoregale Vermentino Toscana.

**NOTE THIS IS A CORRECTION FROM YESTERDAY'S POST**

I love white wines. From the raciest Vinho Verde to the chunkiest Napa Chardonnay. There is room at my table for them all. But Vermentino brought new life to my love of white wine. Over a whole branzino at my favorite "ain't dere no more" Italian restaurant in the North End of Boston I tasted this grape (or more specifically wine made from it.). It was a bit of a revolution as it somehow gave me the rich character of Chardonnay without the vanilla oak and the bright acidity of a Pinot or Sauv Blanc while having a long lingering finish.

Will be $48 on the list. Tomorrow, Monday, December 16th it's only $24.

Our second wine has a cool story. Let's start by saying that during the Renaissance not all billionaires were bad. They built museums, endowed schools, and even purchased land for talented winemakers. Without the Medici family much of the progress in art and science made during this era would not have been possible.

Well, this wine comes from one of the Medici family's favorite estates "Barco Reale."

Most likely a blend of 3 grapes: Sangiovese dominates but supported by an all star cast of Cabernet and Canaiolo, it's dark purple hue and long, long finish are outstanding. Send James Suckling had to agree with me and give this an outstanding rating.

$56 next week but only $28 tomorrow. That's crazy. I'm being reckless. Please take advantage. Hope to see you tomorrow.
