TLDR: King Cakes on Monday the 5th this year!
Alright, y’all. So you all know we’re closed on Tuesdays. There’s a reason for that. It’s because D**g Phuong, the place where most of our bread comes from, is also closed on Tuesdays. Cool, whatever. It’s nice to have a day to reset and pick up the pieces after a long weekend. This year, though, it’s thrown a little wrinkle in our plans. You see, this year Jan 6 falls on a Tuesday. And D**g Phoung’s not gonna be open. And we’re not gonna be open. But we know y’all been waiting way too long for these king cakes. So here’s the plan. We (and everybody else that resells D**g Phuong king cakes) are gonna have them for you on Monday the 5th. Yeah, we know that’s early, and we don’t endorse eating them ahead of schedule (although it won’t make the Saints lose, that’s Gayle’s fault), and we know it’s gonna be hard to leave it on your counter untouched for a day, but that’s the way it’s gonna be this year. So we’ll see y’all in line on MONDAY THE 5TH to get your fix.
