New chapter for Aritza’s Kitchen
After an amazing run at St. Roch Market, My last day at the market will be Saturday May 9th.
I am so grateful for all the love and support the last two years. This isn’t the end we’re shifting into catering, festivals, and pop-ups across New Orleans.
Come see us before we go!

✨Tasty Bites 2025 Competitor Spotlight: Aritza’s Kitchen ✨

Aritza’s Kitchen opened inside the Historic St. Roch Market in November 2023, founded by Aritza Garcia a Honduran chef cooking Cuban food as a way to share her love for cooking, culture, and community. Inspired by how food brings people together, Aritza pours her passion into every dish she serves. Her mission is to offer New Orleans a taste of Cuban cuisine in a warm, welcoming space.

As her business grows, you’ll find her popping up around the city and offering catering for events of all sizes. Aritza is a proud graduate of the Nunez Community College Culinary Program, a Catapult Fellow through the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, and was featured in the Tostitos Cantina activation during the Super Bowl at St. Roch Market.

Chef Artiza will be presenting Ropa Vieja on a Plantain Cup - slow-cooked shredded beef simmered in a savory tomato-based sauce with bell peppers, onions, garlic, and spices as well as her Tres Leches Cake - white cake soaked a mixture of 3 milks: condensed, evaporated and whole milk
