The fun starts at 4:30 PM with the Fireboat Watershow at 6:30 PM, light shows at 8, 9, and 10 PM, and fireworks at 9 PM.

Shorty Fest is one of our favorite nights of the year, and we are so proud to be back for 2026.

This year, it’s all happening Monday, April 27 at Tipitina’s—and the energy starts early.

Come through for the free Outdoor Cultural Block Party at 5 PM (yes, free and all ages). Brass bands, Mardi Gras Indians, good vibes, and our big red food truck parked right there serving up the good stuff:

will be out at the All In For New Orleans Fest at Lafayette Square from 12pm-2pm today (Sunday, January 11) to meet people and also get signatures on our nominating petition. We won’t be at a specific table and will be walking around- I would say look for the pink shirts👚, but it’s significantly colder outside today so I will likely be bundled up 🥶. Also, go stop by my friend’s food truck Tanjariné Kitchen for some good eats 🍔!

Helena Moreno’s inauguration events originally planned for Saturday have been rescheduled due to the threat of severe weather. ☔️☔️☔️ See you there.
