Food safety has always been our top priority since day 1. It’s simple~
Do not serve anything you would not eat yourself. We wash all our produce in a German filtration system that removes unwanted pathogens and chemicals. Cyclospora is making headlines regarding contaminated lettuce and greens, causing due concern for consumption. Our produce is organic and or hydroponic which has not been listed as a threat by the CDC. We are taking extra precautions by washing all our berries and lettuce in a vinegar wash for peace of mind. Our vendor, Whole Foods thoroughly follows these outbreaks and takes action immediately if there is any concern for public safety

I recently made a batch of Involtini “lilttle ones” for a catering order for Support + Feed, and afterwards there were extras which my staff enjoyed trying for the first time. They requested more, as did my husband, so I am back at it. Super high in plant protein and no carbs. Stuffed w my cashew~tofu ricotta and rolled in roasted eggplant them simmered in fresh made marinara.

Found this little dog between Whole Foods and the cafe. If anyone randomly knows this dog….she is maybe 4lbs, definitely a lap dog and quiet. We drove around asking and will see about a chip tomorrow.

I have always decided that something as “basic” as an ice cream sandwich must be quite easy to make. I have been proven incorrect once again that something may be considered ordinary in the mind, is quite the opposite when attempting to complete. This learning curve is a work in progress. What made these much harder was making them both gluten free and vegan. Just saying

Summertime Frozen Matcha is here! We blend 3grams of our Nekohama organic ceremonial matcha, our freshly made almond creme, maple syrup and a secret, nutrient dense superfood powder rich in vitamins. No artificial sweeteners, gums, thickeners. I guarantee any other one you have had in the past is full of unhealthy additives, all aiding in longterm poor health outcomes when consumed often over years. I used to drink Starbucks frappacinos back in 2000’s not knowing any better as you just didn’t think to ask. You should ask any place you frequent, what exactly they are using.

Making a batch of organic Watermeon Fresca for the weekend~ our in house sushi chef, Jesse, is filleting every black seed from this 25lb melon! Thank to Healthier NOLA for this big boy. You can find more watermelon daily under the Claiborne bridge

We are back! Soup weather returns for Monday and we had to make a pot of creamy Harissa soup. Mildly spiced and blended full of roasted red bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, white beans and coconut milk. We will be serving it w sourdough croutons and there is a GF bread option.
