Celebrate the reason for the season at The Café at the Collection with a holiday can drive to benefit our neighbors at the St. Jude Community Center! All month long, drop off unexpired canned goods and nonperishable foods at the Café to help keep the center’s food pantry full. Suggested donations include soups, fruits and vegetables, beans and proteins, peanut butter, pasta, rice, olive oil, and dressings. Pull-tab cans are especially appreciated.

Happy International Coffee Day! ☕We're proud to serve coffee from local New Orleans roasters, Mammoth Coffee Company. We pull every espresso shot and pour every cup with precision and care. Come in for a cup today and enjoy it in our historic courtyard!

Mammoth is a local New Orleans boutique specialty coffee roaster. They operate in a narrow specialty area, focused exclusively on exceptional coffees that spark curiosity and have distinct character. Their philosophy is to source great coffees and then get out of the way, allowing the unique quality of the coffee’s production, terroir, varietal and other factors to shine through. Co-owners Jonathan and Darlene Riethmaier opened Mammoth Espresso in New Orleans’s Warehouse District in 2016. They have been sourcing and roasting coffee since 2021.

Looking for a delicious lunch in the French Quarter? Stop by our courtyard café for an Asian salad featuring ingredients from Dough Nguyener's: spring mix topped with your choice of grilled chicken thigh or tofu, cucumbers, pickled carrots, tomatoes, roasted peanuts, and crispy red onions—all served over a bed of vermicelli with a peanut vinaigrette.

Then head into our free museum to see “Making It Home,” the latest exhibition from The Historic New Orleans Collection. Through oral histories, elders of the New Orleans’s Vietnamese community share their journey to a new country 50 years ago.

St. Joseph’s Day, observed on March 19, is a Catholic feast day honoring the saint credited with saving Sicily from famine. In the late 1800s, Sicilian Catholic immigrants in New Orleans began commemorating the day by decorating church altars with food—often meatless since the feast occurs during Lent—and other offerings of gratitude.

To mark the occasion, the Café at the Collection is welcoming Angelo Brocato Ice Cream back to the French Quarter! Stop by today to pick up your own St. Joseph’s Day feast—these treats won’t last long:
• Cuccidati (fig cookies)
• Biscotti Regina (sesame cookies)
• Ricotta cookies
• Sfingi di San Giuseppe (fritters w/ricotta filling)
• Zeppole with pastry cream
• Almond cookies
• Blueberry crumble crisps

Plus, a vegan Sicilian lentil soup. Enjoy them all in our beautiful courtyard at 520 Royal Street. Plan your visit: https://ow.ly/shFE50VkUTo
