We’re looking back at last year’s success as we prepare for this year’s Cooking for a Cause event, happening tomorrow at Dillard University.

This year, we’re excited to welcome Susan Thomas, Executive Chef at Centenary College of Louisiana, who will be collaborating with our own Chef Gerald Schwandt Jr. Together, they’ll create featured menu items using food scraps and common food pantry ingredients to highlight sustainability and resourcefulness.

Join us for lunch tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7, in Kearny Dining Hall to learn how small actions can make a big impact.

Every $1 donation provides a meal swipe to a fellow student through the Dillard University Swipe Out Hunger program. Donations will be accepted all week.
